How to change or transfer ownership of your mobile number?

To transfer your mobile number to someone else you must fill in the transfer document and send it to BASE.

Note: The subscription terms and conditions continue to apply unless you specify otherwise on the transfer document.

Are you a private user and ...

  • are you transferring your number to another private user? On the transfer document you can choose to keep your current monthly plan or switch to a new one. Provide us with a copy of your identity card and that of the transferee.
  • are you transferring your number to a company or professional user? On the transfer document you can choose one of our business monthly plans. Provide us with a copy of your identity card, that of the transferee and the articles of association of the company in which the transferee
    is the authorized signatory.


Are you a professional user and ...

  • are you transferring your number to private user? On the transfer document you can choose one of our monthly plans. Provide us with a copy of your identity card and that of the transferee.
  • are you transferring your number to another company or professional user? On the transfer document you can choose to keep your current business monthly plan or switch to a new plan. Provide us with a copy of your identity card, that of the transferee and the articles of association of the company in which the transferee is the authorized signatory.

In the event of death

To assume ownership of the number of a deceased user, you use this transfer document.

To transfer a number to a company we always require a proof of mandate!

How do I send the forms?

Provide us with the completed form (this document in the event of death) and the requested documents:

  • through our website by filling in the necessary information and uploading the completed form

  • If the number you are transferring is a prepaid number, don't send in the form. Instead, you and the transferee must visit a BASE Shop together. They must identify themselves with an identity card.


We will notify you by text message when the transfer is complete. Until then you remain responsible for the use of the services and the associated costs. 

Note: A transfer can only be carried out when all the invoices are paid.
