Problems with BASE TV?

Does your BASE TV box suddenly freeze? Do you get an error message on your screen? Fortunately, you can solve most problems yourself. First, check the following:

  • Are all the cables connected properly?
  • Unplug the power lead for fifteen seconds and plug it in again.

TV on, no picture

The TV menu is slow to respond or does not open at all.

Slow, freezes or restarts

Restart your TV box. If that doesn't solve the problem, reset it to the factory settings.

Lights don't light up

The lights on the display of your TV box don't light up.

Error message

Are you getting a pixelated picture (little blocks), or no picture with an error code?

You can no longer watch digital TV. There is a malfunction.

Remote control

You can't zap with your BASE remote control.

No/poor sound

There is no sound (or poor sound quality) from your TV or sound system.
