How do you cancel your BASE subscription or prepaid card?

Do you want to cancel your BASE monthly plan or prepaid card? We are disappointed to hear that! But we are also happy to help you. 

If you want to cancel your mobile, internet or TV plan, we advise you to contact us on 1999. If you have a prepaid card, you can stop topping up at any time. Please note that after 12 months without having been topped up, the card will automatically be deactivated and any unused credit will be lost.

Want to transfer a mobile monthly plan or prepaid card to another operator? Then you don't need an Easy Switch ID. Ask the new operator to keep your mobile number. As soon as your number is activated with the new operator, your BASE number will be deactivated.

Do you want to change your Internet and/or TV provider? Don't forget to give your new provider your Easy Switch ID. They'll cancel your subscription with BASE. It's convenient because you don't have to do anything. You can find your Easy Switch ID in MY BASE.

What do you need to keep in mind?

Are you switching to a different operator with your prepaid card? Then we can refund your remaining call credit to your bank account up to a month after the switch. Ask for refund.

Have you bought a smartphone at a great price with BASE? Go to My BASE or the My BASE app to check the depreciation table and see if you still have a residual value to pay.

  • After cancellation, you have 30 days to return your BASE modem and/or TV box. You do this via a PostNL return point.
  • And if we don't receive your hardware? Then we charge you the residual value of each device.
