Managing and measuring my fixed internet usage

You can check the usage of your fixed internet on My BASE or in the My BASE app. Exactly what you can see depends on your plan.

If you have BASE Limited Internet, you can see the fixed intenet usage for the past three months.

You can also purchase an additional 25 GB or check the usage of additional volume you have purchased.

For BASE Unlimited Internet you see your usage status. If you have used more than 3 TB during peak hours, you will be considered an intensive user and your internet speed will be reduced.

A few usage tips

  • If you have BASE Unlimited Internet, send and receive during the off-peak hours whenever possible. Then you will not be considered an intensive user.
  • Secure your Wi-Fi with a password so that others do not use your network without your knowledge. You can change your password in My BASE or the My BASE app.
  • Use an up-to-date antivirus program.
  • If you download via a P2P network (e.g. BitTorrent), switch it off when everything is finished. If you don't, the P2P network will remain active in the background, affecting your usage.
  • Avoid unpleasant surprises and set usage notifications in My BASE or the My BASE app.
