Who is eligible for the social discount tariff and how to apply for it?
What are the conditions?
- You are 65 years of age or older and have a limited income.
- You are 18 years of age or older and have a handicap of at least 66% and a limited income.
- You have a hearing impairment of over 70 dB in your best ear.
- You have undergone a laryngectomy.
- You are a blind military veteran.
- You can only make one request per family.
How do you apply?
You can easily apply online for a social discount tariff by filling in the form at the bottom of this article.
How much is the discount?
- Subscription: a 40% reduction with a maximum € 8,40/month on your monthly plan.
- BASE 15 at €9
- BASE 20 at €12
- BASE 29 at €21,60
- BASE 39 at €30,60
- Usage out of bundle: € 3,10 reduction (not on third party services)
- Prepaid cards: there is no discount on prepaid cards.
Please note!
- Do you already benefit from a(nother) discount? We then apply the social tariff on the price of your monthly plan after deduction of that other discount. E.g. you have a €5 discount on your BASE 20. We apply the social tariff discount on €15, not on €20. So, you will pay €9.
- If you already benefit from the social tariff, other discounts apply. Contact us for more information.
- You receive a social integration allowance ("leefloon")? Then you are only eligible to the reduction on the out of bundle usage.
