Your current mobile number when changing monthly plan or provider

Whether you are already a BASE customer or not, you are in charge when it comes to your mobile phone number.

As a new customer, you can choose to have a new number, free of charge, or transfer your current number (from your previous provider) to BASE. BASE quickly arranges the switch for you, at no cost.

And if, as an existing customer, you switch to a different monthly plan? Then your keep your number, unless you choose to have a new number.

To transfer your number to BASE, we need your current mobile number and your SIM card number or account number. You can find this info in your previous provider's customer zone or on your bill, or you can simply request it from your old provider. BASE transfers your number within 24 hours.

You will be notified by SMS when your access to your old network ends. Once that happens, insert your BASE SIM card in your handset. Then you're ready to go!

Important: Make sure you are not abroad when the number is transferred, because you must make your first call from Belgium. And if you are abroad? Then you will temporarily have no service, until you return to Belgium.
