How much data do I need?

How much data you need depends on your smartphone and internet usage.

• Sending emails and downloading a maximum of 100 web pages per day: < 200 MB
• Sending emails, downloading apps and viewing images: 200 MB – 1 GB
• Streaming video (1 GB = 10 minutes/day); streaming music (1 GB = 30 minutes/day); downloading or uploading images (1 GB = 10 minutes/day): < 2 GB
• Tethering (using a smartphone as a mobile hotspot) with a tablet, streaming longer video/music content or uploading and downloading images: > 2 GB
