How can I change my monthly plan?

Change it easily via My BASE or in the My BASE app! Are you for example happy about your tv experience, but you need a faster internet subscription? That's possible! You choose what you change.

How?

BASE Mobile – Adjust your mobile subscription or prepaid card via My BASE or in the My BASE app.

BASE Internet – Switch between Internet limited or Internet unlimited via My BASE or in the My BASE app.

BASE TV – Choose whether you want to watch TV with or without a TV box via My BASE or in the My BASE app.

What do you need to keep in mind?

Do you currently have a monthly plan?

  • You won't be able to carry over any credit from your current mobile monthly plan.

Do you currently have a prepaid card and want to take a monthly plan?

  • You can't carry over your free text messages and minutes to your new mobile monthly plan. So it is best to use them up first.
  •  We will carry over the remaining call credit and deduct it from your mobile subscription.

Do you currently have a smartphone on instalments? And...

  • are you switching to a more expensive monthly plan? Then you will continue to pay your contribution every month until your handset is fully paid off.
  • are you switching to a cheaper monthly plan? Then you may have to pay the remaining amount of your smartphone on the next invoice/bill. Check this in the depreciation table in the My BASE app.
  • Do you change your internet subscription? You will keep your current modem.
  • Any remaining or bought data from a BASE limited Internet is not transferred to a BASE unlimited Internet when you switch.
  • Are you changing from a TV subscription with BASE TV box to one without? Then don't forget to return your hardware. If you don’t do it on time, a fee will be charged.
  • Are you changing from a TV subscription without BASE TV to one with? Then we will send a BASE TV box to you.

The first invoice/bill after your switch may look somewhat different. This is because you will pay part of your previous monthly plan, part of your new monthly plan and your new monthly plan for the coming month.
