All about cashback

At BASE you benefit from amazing discounts on a wide range of smartphones. In some cases, this is in the form of a cashback. What is that exactly, and how does it work? 

What?

A cashback is a discount provided by BASE after purchase of a handset with a monthly plan. So, you initially pay a higher amount, then request the discount and, finally, the amount of your discount is paid back to you. 

Already have a monthly plan? No problem, you can also enjoy a cashback reduction! 

An example

  • You purchase a smartphone with a monthly plan and a €50 cashback. Final price: €9.
  • You pay €59 in the shop or online.
  • You request the cashback online.
  • Your request is validated.
  • You get €50 returned to your bank account within 14 days.

Who?

BASE partners with MyActions for all cashbacks. They handle the administrative aspect.

How?

  • photo or scan of your proof of purchase.
  • Your IMEI code, which you can find on the packaging or the inside of your handset. Or dial *#06# on your mobile phone.
  • Your customer number, which you can find amongst other places on the contract of your phone.
  • photo or scan of the contract that came with your phone. The second page with the depreciation table is all you need.

  1. Choose the cashback for your handset. This takes you to the MyActions website, where you will find all the details of the selected cashback.
  2. Choose the offer you want, and register via the form.
  3. Check your mailbox, where you will find an email from MyActions to complete your registration.
  4. Fill in all the details. You will need your proof of purchase, IMEI code, customer number and BASE monthly plan.
  5. Confirm the registration of your cashback. MyActions sends you an email with that confirmation. They will normally transfer your cashback to your bank account within 14 days, and certainly within 45 days.
