Do I need fixed internet from BASE for my TV?
To get the most out of your BASE TV, a fast, stable internet is essential. Without a reliable connection, you might experience interruptions and technical glitches while enjoying your television content.
With the BASE TV box
The BASE TV box receives the TV signal via the internet. If you want a TV box, you must also order a fixed internet subscription from BASE, preferably Unlimited Internet. This is the only way we can guarantee the best viewing quality and intervene immediately if there are problems.
Tip: for the best experience, we recommend connecting the BASE TV box to the modem via a network cable.
With the BASE TV app
With the BASE TV app, you can watch however you want and anywhere in Belgium and the EU zone. You can also watch via another Wi-Fi or mobile connection.
Important: If your picture keeps faltering or has glitches while watching via the app, check your internet connection first. If your connection is not stable, it is best to contact the provider of the internet service.
