Pixelated/poor picture on TV

If you have poor picture quality or the picture on your screen is blocky, the problem might be related to the cables connected to your BASE TV box. Cables may have come loose during dusting or when you repositioned your TV.

  • Is your BASE TV connected via wifi? Then use the network cable to connect your TV box directly to your modem or wifi booster.
  • Unplug the HDMI cable from your BASE TV box and television and reconnect it.
  • Restart your TV box by unplugging the power lead from the mains socket for ten seconds.

Still have poor picture quality? Then try a new HDMI cable if necessary.

Setting the picture resolution

The picture resolution is automatically set correctly when you connect the BASE TV box to your television with an HDMI cable. Nevertheless, you may have to change the resolution if you have poor picture quality.

  • Press the house button on the remote control and then the gear.
  • Go to Picture and Sound > Resolution. Make your selection and confirm with OK.
