How to log in to My BASE and My BASE app?

You can log in to your BASE account (My BASE and My BASE app) securely in four different ways:

  • Login and password: use your email address and a complex password. Have you linked your mobile number to your email address? If so, you can also log in with your mobile number. 
  • Passkey: use your fingerprint, facial recognition or a security key.
  • Authenticator: log in using an authenticator app and a unique code.
  • Via SMS: receive a login code by SMS on your smartphone. 

Tip

Do you like to play it safe? Then choose two-step verification and combine your login with an additional security option.

To log in to your BASE account, you can use your login and password. As a reminder, your email address (the one you entered when you created your login) is used as your login. If you have linked your mobile number to your email address, you can also log in with your mobile number.

To use your passkey for your BASE account, you must first have a BASE login. Don't have one yet? Create one quickly. 

On your PC, smartphone or tablet, can you log in using your fingerprint, facial recognition or a security key? Then you are using a passkey. Passkeys offer many advantages. They are very secure because they are difficult for (cyber)criminals to guess, steal or forge. What's more, you don't have to enter a password and you can often log in to your various devices in the same way.

How do you link or manage it?

You can also use your device's passkey for BASE apps and the BASE website, provided you link it to your BASE account. You can do this easily via My BASE. We explain how to do this with a simple step-by-step plan. Don't worry, it's not very difficult. If you want to change or unlink your linked passkey, you can also do this on My BASE.

To use Authenticator for your BASE account, you must first obtain a BASE login. Don't have one yet? Create one quickly

Log in via an app on your smartphone? You can do this using an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. This means you don't use your password, but rather a unique verification code. These codes are constantly renewed by an algorithm. They are therefore very secure and you can also use the app offline. And you can link multiple accounts to the same app.

How do you link or manage it?
