What is unlimited internet?

With BASE unlimited Internet you no longer have to limit your data usage on the BASE network. To provide everyone with a quality experience, we do have some usage guidelines. If you are considered an intensive user, your internet speed will be temporarily reduced until the end of the billing period. Your volume, however, remains unlimited.

  • You are an intensive user as soon as you have used more than 3 TB of fixed internet volume during the peak hours
  • As an intensive user, your speed will be limited to 20 Mbps downstream and 2 Mbps upstream during these peak hours.
  • However, your internet speed will only be reduced during peak hours. During the off-peak hours your internet speed will still be 200 Mbps.
  • Your fixed internet usage does not impact your mobile usage and speeds.

Important: You will get a notification via text message or email when you are reaching the point at which you become an intensive user. You can set and change these reminders yourself on My BASE and in the My BASE app.
