How much internet speed do I get on my address?

The internet speed you have depends on the installation address, your subscription, and the network on which you are connected. In the tables below you can find the expected speed on your address. Don't know which network you are connected to? Check that first.

Important : the speeds we show below are theoretical speeds you can reach when your pc or laptop are directly connected to the modem with an internet cable. Your final speed is determined by several factors like Wi-Fi, indoor cabling, your computer's processor...

Help! My speed is lower than expected

Is your real speed lower than expected? This can depend on several factors:

  • Older devices or cables can slow down your speed. Use recent devices and cables.
  • Browsers and software on your devices also influence your speed. Make sure they are always up-to-date.
  • Viruses, as well, can slow down your speed. Decent antivirus software is not a bad idea!
  • When you surf via Wi-Fi, other factors (like microwaves, babyphones, your neighbours' network, etc.) can interfere with your Wi-Fi signal. Read our Wi-Fi tips for more information!
  • Do you use a VPN connection (for example on your work laptop) while surfing? This also affects your speed.
  • You can also surf with lower speeds if you have used too much data. Read more.

Do you still have lower internet speed than expected? Maybe there is a problem with your connection. Discover how you can solve this.
